Cleaning and maintenance
For guidelines on cleaning and maintenance of individual products please contact Tata Steel for more information, but in terms of general guidelines for pre-finished steel the following apply:
- All our pre-finished steel products can be cleaned with commercially available, water based cleaning products
- The use of abrasive cleaners or scouring pads are not recommended
- It is recommended that an alcohol based cleaner is used periodically on the Motiva ® Graffiti product
- All our pre-finished steel coatings have good resistance to heat, detergents and other household substances such as foodstuffs, shoe polish and lipstick, which can stain ordinary paint finishes.
